JimJim founded Oglecom in 2002, seeking to provide high-speed Internet service to people in rural northern Illinois. Jim has been working in the Internet business since 1989, when he founded his first ISP. Twelve years ago, he began working with wireless Internet technology. His areas of expertise include networking (wired and wireless), network security, relational database programming, and network design and implementation. What are his duties at Oglecom? “I do everything!” he explains.

Network Administrator/Technical Support

jasonIf you call Oglecom, Jason may be the person who helps you out. Jason has been with Oglecom from the very beginning in 2002. He has worked for Internet Service Providing companies since 1997, and has particular expertise in networking, troubleshooting, and general computer knowledge. “If it has buttons and lights, I can probably fix it,” he says.

Wireless Installation/Computer Repair

ChrisChris may be the one who installs your Oglecom service. He has been working with Oglecom for nearly three years, and before that worked in technical support for an Internet Service Providing company for two and a half years. He has extensive experience in installation, troubleshooting, and repair of both computers and wireless systems.

Jon has worked in the radio industry for many years He has expertise in RF (radio frequency) engineering as well as experience in computer networks.

 

 

 

 


 

Brian

BrianThose of you seeking computer repair services will probably talk to Brian at some point. Brian is our newest employee at Oglecom, joining the staff in May of 2008. But he is no newcomer to the computer and Internet industries. He worked as a network administrator for seven years and ran a computer installation and networking business for two years. He has expertise in database design, networking, and computer repair.
